July 6.. The Tour de France came to Cholet for a
time trial. The sunday before the actual event the
time trial route was made available to the public.
The atmosphere in Cholet during the race was
amazing.
It was a long day with about 180 riders waiting to set
off on route. A great opportunity for us to see some of
the big names in the race.
Some tour celebrities who turned up at Cholet.
Jul 9.. The next day as the Tour left Cholet and
headed off to Chateauroux we watched the tour from
the side of the road with our friends.
